| All puppies raised at Vom Haus Gates will have received their first immunizations as well as being tattooed, wormed, tested for parasites and microchipped. We offer a three year guarantee against hip and elbow displaysia. We do require that your veterinarian examines the new member of your family within the first 48 hours. | ||

Every puppy raised at Vom Haus Gates receives a "puppy care package" that includes a collar, a puppy Kong toy, as well as a DVD from Leerburg Kennels entitled "Your puppy 8 Weeks to 8 Months." It is the best source for instructional material we have found and it is rich with housebreaking and motivational training techniques for your new puppy. |

Our dogs are kept in a clean environment and are groomed on a frequent basis. By the time our pups are placed in their new homes they are accustomed to - and usually enjoy - brushing, toenail clipping, and baths. At Vom Haus Gates we only breed one to two litters per year in order to give our puppies the high quality of care and socialization that they require. |

To our customers that our not local, we can happily ship your puppy in an airline approved size crate (currently a 200/300 crate for our puppies). The airlines we ship with usually are determined by which airline will be the shortest distance for your puppy. Prior to leaving for their new home, all Vom Haus Gates puppies are introduced to their crate. This facilitates the process of shipping on the puppy as well as giving the puppy a safe and comfortable environment. This allows them to feel secure during the flight. Please note that the price of shipping is additional. If you need a quote on shipping your puppy please feel free to contact us. The estimate will include the cost of a new, correct size crate, as well as a health certificate (a requirement to ship via the airlines) and airline fees. The puppy will receive the health certificate, issued by our veterinarian, prior to shipment. All of our puppies will ship securely from our airport to yours. We actively check on our puppies during any changes/layovers that might occur as we strive to maintain a good working relationship with all airlines we utilize. Our litters are registered with AKC and USA/SV. At Vom Haus Gates our dogs must have an OFA score of Excellent or Good, or the understood equivalent to that in a foreign registry's hip evaluation program, to be in our breeding program. An OFA evaluation of Fair is not considered good enough for our program. I choose to keep a limited number of breeding stock in order to provide excellent care for each. That usually means a wait for one of our pups. I firmly believe that the first several weeks of life are crucial in the proper development of puppies. Therefore we spend many hours handling them. They are exposed to different people, various sounds and stimuli, obstacles (as confidence builders), and gentle children. |
