Vom Haus gates is centrally located in the Piedmont triad of North Carolina. At Vom Haus Gates we are a small but dedicated family owned and operated facility.

My love affair with the German Shepherd dog began at a very young age. I was fortunate enough to have been raised in a family that loved and respected animals. My father, in particular, had a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for the German Shepherd dog. Most of my earliest and fondest memories of childhood include our family German Shepherd, Trouble, who was my constant companion. He was a young girl's shadow, devoted friend and unwavering guardian.

My enthusiasm for the German Shepherd breed has only grown with time. At Vom Haus Gates we are committed to maintaining only the best European working line German Shepherds. We feel that it is imperative that our dogs possess and maintain a healthy attitude towards children as well as non threatening adults. We keep a very small number of dogs within our limited breeding program. All of our dogs at Vom Haus Gates have been closely scrutinized for temperament as well as character so that they are unsurpassed family pets. However, they are also carefully scrutinized for balanced nerves, allowing them to be confident protectors of their family if they ever need be called upon in that task. Although our dogs actively compete in the sport of Schutzhund we realize that their value as family companions far outweigh any successes that may be achieved on the field of competition.
